RCA 1040W radio restoration

RCA 1040W "Walnut" is a solid state radio made in Japan in late 1960s and sold in Canada under RCA brand. Made pretty much on the tube radio schematic with output transformer, high voltage, no power transformer, etc. Wasn't able to find a circuit diagram on the internet for free, so had to buy a compatible RZC270/275 diagram from https://antiqueradioschematics.org for about $10. As usual, all capacitors have been replaced. Also put more powerful voltage drop resistors so they don't heat like creasy.

Another challenge were Japanese incandescent lamps of three different bodies and types. Just got them all replaced with a series of LEDs by adding a little rectifier and drop resistor.

Radio looks and sounds great as has two 5x3" speakers. Spent about $50 for the radio, diagram, and parts total.  It was listed on a market for $120 and sold for $100.
